DG Sport has been the loyal promoter and events organiser at the Spa-Francorchamps race circuit since 1999: Bikers’ Days, Bikers’ Classics, 6h Moto as well as the Spa Cycling Challenge at the end of August.
The name of the team from Theux appears regularly on the timetable of activities at the circuit.
During the weekend of 27 and 28 September 2014, DG Sport will have the pleasure of once again organising an event that took place for the first time in 2002: SpaItalia. The organisers, great fans of la dolce vita, wanted to breathe a new lease of life into the event, making it the great Italian festivity at Spa-Francorchamps.
The main theme will of course continue to gravitate around the famous Italian car marques. But motorcyclists will not be left out as we can count on the network and experience of DG Sport in this field. Exhibitions of prestigious models, grand parades open to everyone on the circuit during the daytime, the chance to take a car or a motorbike (split up into different categories) out on the track... no stone will remain unturned in our efforts to ensure that each participant and each visitor has the chance to be a real player in this great festive event! The organisers will also be reserving a number of tours on the circuit for motor clubs and offering initiation drives in Italian sports cars, etc.
So, a multitude of activities on the circuit. But that’s not all! DG Sport has every intention of bringing the whole of the Spa area to life, Italian style. A number of different activities aimed at the public will be created for this new edition of SpaItalia: a concours d’élégance, gala evening on Saturday, live music and of course discoveries of gastronomic treasures and wines to make sure that your taste buds and palate are able to enjoy the festivities too.
DG Sport wants to ensure that the events organised for fans of this event meet their highest expectations during this weekend, so it is organising an adventure rally that will allow the teams of these stunning Italian vehicles to discover one of the most beautiful regions of Belgium.
The website for the event will keep you up-to-date about the status of the programme, the guests and the different themes that will be celebrated there: www.spaitalia.be.
Please mark the dates of 27 and 28 September in your calendar to come to Spa-Francorchamps and make sure that the theme of this new event is lived to the full: “Passione Italiana, Passione alta Velocità”!
